Do you think the Houston Rockets can win the NBA title w/ T-Mac winning the MVP this season?
T-Mac's Houston Rockets team is 21 in a row right now. Unbelievable team effort isn't it, they got aging shot blocker Mount Mutombo right there, Argentinian Luis SSSSScooola over there, they have Shane "D" as in DEFENSE Battier, they also have raging Rafer Alston at the point, the team got emerging star Carl Landry in the paint, "Mr. put back" Chuck Hayes is also there even though his Free Throw sucks! I laugh my head off when watching replays of his free throws. I could say NBA - "Where WTF happens". ahhahah! And of course the main man of this franchise "The Big Sleep" Tttttrrrracy McGrady! Inside and outside man! a good leader on the floor, from penetrations to silky smooth moves. He's an opponent magnet, that's why he can easily find wide open team mates.
They are still winning since Yao left, I believe that McGrady is carrying the load on his shoulders. I can imagine how Mcgrady and the Rockets go past second round and beat the hell out of of their opponents.
I think anything is possible. The next games will be a tough test for them though. But I think if they are healthy, they can compete in the playoffs, because they are a TEAM in the true sense of the word. Plus I think there bench with a vet in Bobby Jackson, and with the chuckwagon, and Carl landry they are tough enough to compete in the playoffs. Everyone says Lakers, but look at their bench compared to the rockets, and the have mr softee in Pau Gasol at center, another jump shooting big man, give me a break. This team has a chip on their shoulder for some reason. Reminds me of the 94- 95 years when they won the championship!
